Programs that meet people where they are

Support for every situation

Recovery looks different for everyone. TPCCV offers programs for people at different points in their journey — whether you're navigating the justice system, parenting in recovery, a young person, or in a medical crisis.

Recovery Center

The Recovery Center in Barre is our home base. People can drop in, connect with staff, join peer support groups or get matched with a Recovery Coach. Everyone on staff is in recovery themselves. No referral needed. No appointment required.

Recovery coaching in the emergency department

When someone comes to the hospital in crisis, a Peer Recovery Coach can be there. TPCCV has coaches on-site at Central Vermont Medical Center and on-call at Gifford Medical Center at all hours. We meet people at a hard moment and help them figure out next steps.

Corrections program

TPCCV works inside Washington County's justice system. Coaches are on-site at Treatment Court, Probation and Parole, and out in the community with local police. They support recovery, help with accountability, and connect people with resources. Treatment Court participants are also required to complete Making Recovery Easier (MRE).

Parents program

Parenting in recovery is complex. TPCCV works with families through DCF referrals, home visits and parenting classes. There’s also a weekly women's group with the Family Center of Washington County. On-site child supervision is often available upon request, so parents can take part in activities at the center.

FUTURES program

FUTURES supports young people in Central Vermont. Recovery Coaches work one-on-one with youth who are using substances or who have a family member struggling. Parental consent is required for minors.

All services are free of charge.
