If you're trying to figure out how to support someone in recovery, you're probably already doing one of the hardest things there is. There's no manual for it, and what works for one person and one family won't necessarily work for another.
At Turning Point Center of Central Vermont, we don't hand out checklists. We sit with you, listen to what's going on and help you think through what might actually help in your situation.
How we can help
Our Recovery Coaches work with family members and friends as well as people in recovery. They can help you think through your situation, understand what your loved one might be going through, and figure out what kind of support might be the right fit, whether that comes from you, from us, or from other resources.
We also offer Open Hearts, a weekly group for loved ones of people in recovery or actively using substances, where you can connect with others in similar situations.
Recovery is possible. We've seen it. The people who work at Turning Point Center have lived it. Whatever is happening right now, it doesn't have to stay this way — for your loved one, or for you.
